SATAN AND SARASWATI: THE DOUBLE FACE OF ENGLISH IN INDIA".

India is multilingual and multicultural from north to south and east to west. India speaks many language and Indian people use the English as a second language. Indian people speak the Hindi as a first language. We can see the double face of English in India.

WHY DON’T SPEAK THE ENGLISH INDIAN PEOPLE?

Only reason is greatest mass of Indian doesn’t know English language that’s they resects English language.

When India was free from the in 1947. British symbol were replaced but the institution and instruments were retained. At that time our government decided that English was not official language. There were aspirations and pressures to make Hindi or Hindustani as the national language of the new nation, but ultimately resigning the multinational character of the country, the Indian constitution did not speak of the nation language of the union. The difference will be only regarding which language will replace it and when the final decision was that it would be Hindi devanageri script.
English official language in India

During the prescribed period of year for the complete change of the official language of the union. There was growing political opposition in some states to the progressive use of Hindi for official purpose. Indian are using numbers of regional language and dialect Hindi is over accepted national language because 36% of the Indian are use Hindi as their mother tongue. So English is abused in India as second language and official language.
Today we can see the most of the ENGLISH medium school in India who run by the private trust. Minority organization missionaries and the central government English medium are prestigious and is in great demand. For the replacement of English in higher education like the under graduate, postgraduate and professional college. Indian language medium available in many colleges, particularly in arts and humanities at the undergraduate level.

In India English may be used various place under them description. We use English as a first language and as a second language and foreign language.

·              Thus the preference for English. However, is a private choice and not public platform? No political party, for example, has a manifesto for  English. Through the political leaders in their private life may go in for English like sending their children to English medium school.

Thus English is disadvantages and advantages for the worldly people

Modernist poems analysis 1.) ‘The Embankment‘ - T. E. Hulme Once, in finesse of fiddles found I ecstasy, In a flash of gold heels on the hard pavement. Now see I That warmth’s the very stuff of poesy. Oh, God, make small The old star-eaten blanket of the sky, That I may fold it round me and in comfort lie. Probably the most striking trait of the poem is the very intense use of alliterations: fantasia, fallen, finesse of fiddles, found, the flashes… In other words, that musical quality (the  melopoeia , in Pound’s terms) that results from the softness of the sound of ‘f’. The soft rhythm redirects our attention to the poem: the music of the ‘f’ not only resembles the music of fiddles, it also highlights them reinforcing the image. The effect of softness is very similar to  Joyce’s  “the snow falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling” in the final paragraph of  The Dead . 2.) "Darkness" - Joseph Campbell Darkness ...

In literary theory, structuralism is an approach to analyzing the narrative material by examining the underlying invariant structure. Garrard Genette gives the Narratology in order to understand the structure of the literature. It consists of five parts: 1) Order 2) Frequency 3) Duration 4) Voice 5) Mood  And here I have tried to analyze the movie.  For example, in "Haider” director vishal bharadwaj taken plot and story from Shakespeare’s play “hamlet”. But here director change the plot background, place and theme. When we see the Kenneth branagh’s hamlet starting with the statue of king hamlet. And At the end director gave very typical end all the characters are died.  but in  haider movie  director  vishal bharadwaj is very confused about end so he do not have any end all the major charter is alive but here at the end is depends upon audience . Question is as it raised in mind  “To be or not to be”.   Another examp...
